2. Restoran Tong Sheng
Restoran Tong Sheng was the first in Malacca to provide Cheesy Prawn Meehun (RM35/70/105), inspired by Hong Kong's Lobster Cheese Noodles.
Chef Lee substitutes big prawns for lobster as the primary ingredient. The cheese melts nicely into the relatively watery gravy, and the mixture is creamy enough. It's not too thick, so you won't get sick of it after a few bites. The prawns have a special freshness and sweetness. There's even prawn roe sprinkled into the dish.
The prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. If you're in Malacca for the weekend, you must visit Restoran Tong Sheng at least once!
